World History Regular Routine

We don't always do things exactly the same but, for the most part, here is the regular routine during World History class:

Day 1. On the day students take the evaluation (test) over the previous chapter, they get a guided reading sheet for part of the next chapter. Students are assigned to work on it and know it before the next class. (Every third chapter we do has map assignments too.)
Day 2. Students take a quiz over the assigned guided reading (usually with homework).  I teach the material and assign more guided reading questions for them to do and know.
Day 3. Students take a quiz over the assigned guided reading (usually with homework).  I teach the material and assign more guided reading questions for them to do and know.
Day 4: Students take a quiz over the assigned guided reading (usually with homework).  I teach the material and tell them to prepare for a quiz over all of the material.
Day 5: Students take a quiz over all of the chapter material.  They don't get to use their homework.  I assign students a review for the chapter to complete (for extra credit) and tell them to prepare for a chapter evaluation during the next class period.  The process then repeats itself.
